Not necessarily. If you already have detailed specifications and wireframes, we review them and can give you a fixed-price quote directly from your documents. If the review finds minor gaps, we may fill them in at no charge. If the gaps are large enough to affect the price, we recommend a shorter Discovery Phase to cover only what is missing.
No. Web and mobile app projects that already have detailed specifications and wireframes can be quoted at a fixed price directly, with no Discovery. Projects without them start with a Discovery package. Data analytics and software automation projects receive a free Scope of Work document instead.
A discovery phase is a short engagement that defines exactly what will be built before development starts. We map your users, workflows, and features, then turn them into specifications, a prototype, and a fixed-price quote.
Only when a project doesn't have detailed specifications and wireframes yet. A fixed price is reliable when the scope is fully defined, so if you already have those documents, we quote from them at no charge. If you don't, Discovery produces them. Without a defined scope, a quote is an estimate that tends to grow during development.
The Discovery Phase starts from $2,500 and is priced at cost, meaning we charge only for the time it takes and add no margin. The final fee depends on the size of your project, and the packages are listed on this page.
A typical Discovery Phase takes 2 to 4 weeks. Larger or more complex projects can take longer, and we confirm the timeline before we start.
You receive detailed specifications, wireframes and a clickable prototype, and a fixed-price contract for the complete development. Together they describe what will be built, how it will work, and what it will cost.
Yes. You own every deliverable outright. You can use the documentation to get quotes from other developers, review it with your own technical team, or keep it for later.
Nothing further is owed. There is no obligation to proceed, and you keep all the deliverables. You can pause the project or take the specification to another vendor.
